Ace filmmaker Karan Johar, who is equally popular on the small screen has said that he considered himself as a television personality now. Adding to his stints in the television world, KJo will judge the reality show "Dil Hai Hindustani".

Talking about the new opportunity, the ace filmmaker said that there is nothing on television that he didn’t do. He said he judged a dancing show, a singing one and also hosted a show, covering all the verticals.

Karan said that all this makes him more of a television personality and movies just happen incidentally now.

The 44-year-old was speaking at the press conference of Star Plus's new show on Tuesday.

The "Kapoor & Sons" producer who has served as a judge on the reality shows "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" and "India's Got Talent" added: "Wherever I go, people ask me more about talent shows or the talk show and it's very embarrassing. Sometimes, I have to tell them I am a filmmaker and a producer too."

Karan however feels that the impact of the small screen is huge.

"I think the impact of television is huge. It is important to know for us that three percent people of our country watch films whereas 25 percent people watch television. It's nine times more impactful," he said.
