Karan Johar calls it an honour to sing for Shekhar Ravjiani

Filmmaker Karan Johar has crooned a number for music composer Shekhar Ravjiani and said that it was an honour for him to sing for Shekhar. Both the celebrities are judges on a singing reality show.

Filmmaker Karan Johar has crooned a number for music composer Shekhar Ravjiani and said that it was an honour for him to sing for Shekhar. Both the celebrities are judges on a singing reality show ‘Dil Hai Hindustani’.

Ravjiani shared Karan’s picture with microphone on micro-blogging site Twitter informing that the director has sung a song for ‘Dil Hai Hindustani’. He tweeted, “Karan Johar records a song for me. Yet another role. Dil Hai Hindustani”.

Shekhar is famous for songs like ‘Tujhe bhula diya’, ‘Zehnaseeb’ and ‘Radha’. Along with Shekhar and Karan, rapper Badshah and singer Shalmali Kholgade are also seen judging the reality show.

"Karan Johar records a song for me. Yet another role. Dil Hai Hindustani," Ravjiani captioned the image.

Karan, also a chat show host, thanked the composer.

"Thank you Shekhar sir! Singing for you was an honour...I hope this leads to a long innings as a playback singer...for me! Dream comes true," Karan said.
