Ace comedians Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover’s saga is not going to end soon. Now, it seems that Kapil is winning the battle. The TRP of The Kapil Sharma Show was more than that of singing reality show Indian Idol in which Sunil appeared as Dr Mashoor Gulati.
As per BARC India's latest data, Kapil’s show got 4.6 million and Sunil’s episode in Indian Idol garnered 4.2 million impression. Thus, it seems that audience is still in love with Kapil.
Dr. Mashoor Gulati is one of the most loved characters of The Kapil Sharma Show and people were missing him on small screen. Thus, when Sunil performed on Indian Idol, it was being said that he would surely defeat Kapil but these fresh reports indicate something else.
After Kapil’s in-flight tussle with Sunil, the latter boycotted the show. Sunil confirmed that he won’t be returning to TKSS as he wants to entertain with dignity. Meanwhile, the TRP of the show has affected after Sunil along with Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar left it. Latest reports suggest that the channel has given a month notice to Kapil to bring the show back on track. It is also being heard that a new show has been offered to Grover.
Amid all speculations, one confirmed thing is audiences will never get to see Kapil and Sunil together agagin.
