Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut's sister and her official spokesperson Rangoli Chandel has fired salvos at Richa Chadha after a series of attack on Hrithik Roshan, Alia Bhatt, Soni Razdan, Mahesh Bhatt among others. In a series of tweets aimed at Richa, Rangoli called her jobless actor and even hurled abuse at her. For unversed, Richa and Kangana will be sharing screen space in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwary's Panga.
For uninitiated, Richa in one of the TV shows expressed her opinion on Kangana's Twitter war. ''If I have a problem with someone, I wouldn’t have a war of words with them on a public platform. This is because I don’t want to say it. Not because I lack the courage. I have the courage and I want to say it sometimes, but I’d say it one-on-one,'' she was quoted as saying by IANS.
This didn't go down well with Kangana's sister Rangoli, who as usual took to Twitter to lash out at Richa. “I hear a lot of people like @RichaChadha comment about Kangana’s outspokenness, they often insist they choose not to have public war of words. My question is do they have a choice? Are they truly autonomous?,'' she wrote.
''Can they function if bollywood biggies black list them? Can they create content and survive on their own? Do they have that competence? Can they survive opposition’s counter attacks and bring about the much needed change? Please understand Kangana slogged for 14 years to earn her freedom, she never spoke the way she does now cause in 14 years she build herself in a way that she will survive even if the whole industry is against her. ..so her timing of speaking out was also decided a decade ago. Please know if there is a flame burning in the rain there is a reason behind that its not a coincidence. And here are some jobless actors, movie mafia a**lickers... giving her gyan that even though they can but they don’t indulge in public fights. Darling the truth is if you could, you would.. So please take a seat,'' she then wrote in a series of tweets.
If comments on Rangoli's tweets are to go by, Twitter is upset with her for 'tarnishing' Kangana's image. ''Control you language first. You really behaves like a child. Every time you tweet anything, media uses you tweets and misquote them, publish them and makes sure that kangana is trolled, bullied and hated. You really need someone to guide you,'' a user commented. Rangoli's tweets got comments on a similar line. However, there were some who were in complete support of Rangoli and Kangana.
On a related note, Kangana will next be seen in a dark comedy, Mental Hai Kya which also stars Rajkummar Rao. The film which is slated to hit theatres on July 26 has now got solo release as Hrithik Roshan has decided to postpone the release date of Super 30.
