This is not the first time that Kriti Sanon has flaunted her slender waist and dance moves for a special song in a film. This time, the Luka Chuppi actress has done an item number for the period-drama Kalank. In the song titled Aira Gaira, Kriti Sanon is seen shaking legs with the male leads of the film Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapur. The leading ladies of the film Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt and Madhuri Dixit are nowhere to be seen. In the song, Kriti Sanon is seen wearing a flashy Manish Malhotra outfit with her manes falling down on her shoulders.
Talking about the song Aira Gaira, it has been composed by Pritam Bhattacharya and performed by Antara Mitra, Javed Ali and Tushar Joshi. The lyrics have been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. It is the second special song from the film Kalank.
Earlier, a song titled First Class had Kiara Advani giving special appearance with Varun Dhawan. The song continues to top the list of chartbusters for the month.
Kalank is a period drama based against the backdrop of India-Pakistan partition. Directed by Abhishek Varman, it has Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. The film is scheduled to release on April 17.
