Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan who scored a 100 crore win with his last film Badrinath ki Dulhania, is on a roll. His recent film Judwaa 2, which also starred Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles, is creating huge buzz everywhere. The David Dhawan entertainer, which hit the cinemas on September 2017, is doing wonders at the box-office. Judwaa 2 crossed Rs 50 crore on day three and now, on its sixth day, the film has almost touched the coveted 100 crore mark. The box-office collection day 6 of the comedy drama is out. The film has earned Rs 92.02 crore on the sixth day of its opening which means it will hit the 100-crore mark soon.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the box-office collection report of the film. He said, “#Judwaa2 is a HIT... Fri 16.10 cr, Sat 20.55 cr, Sun 22.60 cr, Mon 18 cr, Tue 8.05 cr, Wed 6.72 cr. Total: ₹ 92.02 cr. India biz”.
Judwaa 2 released on the final day of Navratri, gathering even more crowd on the second day due to Dussehra. As it has the long weekend ahead, following Gandhi Jayanti on Monday, the film fared extremely well at the box office.
Directed by David Dhawan, the action comedy film features Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu. The film is a remake of Salman Khan’s 1997 film Judwaa. In the film, Varun created double magic by playing double characters Prem and Raja.
