Superstar Salman Khan has been found guilty and is sentenced to five years of imprisonment in a 20-year-old blackbuck poaching case. His lawyer has released an official statement stating that they respect the decision, but it came as a big surprise. He informed that they have also appealed honourable session court and applied for an urgent hearing. Tarde Analyst Komal Nahta shared the statement on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Salman's Hum Saath Saath Hai co-stars Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam have been acquitted. This verdict came as a big shock for all Bollywood celebs. Jaya Bachchan said, "I feel bad. He should be given relief. He has done a lot of humanitarian work."
Neelam’s husband Samir Soni said, “We are happy for us but we are disappointed for Salman Khan. Justice has not been given properly in this case. I am feeling bad for him.”
Salman was accused of killing two blackbucks in Kankani village near Jodhpur during the shoot of the film Hum Saath Saath Hain.
