Jacqueline Fernandez in Hindi remake of a hit Hollywood film

Actress Jacqueline Fernandez has been roped in to play the lead in the remake of The Girl on the Train.

Actress Jacqueline Fernandez is riding high on success after her latest release Judwaa 2 opposite Varun Dhawan entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club and now latest report suggest that the actress has been roped in to play the lead in the Hindi remake of Hollywood film The Girl on the Train. Based on Paula Hawkins' 2015 Best Sellers, the original film starred Emily Blunt. The film will be directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, who has confirmed that Jacqueline is on board as the protagonist.

Ribhu stated that he wanted to collaborate with the gorgeous actress for very long time and now he has found a perfect project for it. If reports are to be believed, the director is working on the script and the shooting will begin in the first half of 2018.

Jacqueline these days has some good projects in her kitty. Currently, she is busy with the work of her upcoming film Drive alongside actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The lady will soon start shooting for the third instalment of Race franchise. She will be seen sharing the screen space with superstar Salman Khan in Race 3. The film also features Bobby Deol in a pivotal role.
