Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be teaming up with talented filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra for her upcoming venture Fanney Khan, in which she will be seen romancing a young actor. Actor Akshay Oberoi, who has done films like Isi Life Mein and Pizza, has turned down the offer, reportedly. What can be the reason behind no-so-popular actor refusing to work with the gorgeous lady? Well, it could be Aish’s former lover Vivek Oberoi.
A source revealed to a leading daily that the team of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra contacted Akshay for the film. But, things didn’t work out and the team is still searching for the actor, who fits the role.
Akshay is the cousin of Vivek. The latter didn’t share good relations with Aish after their breakup. So, there are chances that Akshay rejected the role to avoid the awkwardness. It is yet to be seen, which actor bags the golden opportunity to romance the beautiful lady.
Interestingly, in Aish’s last onscreen venture Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, the lady was seen romancing young star Ranbir Kapoor.
On a related note, Akshay was last seen in Gurgaon. Directed by Shanker Raman, the movie also featured Ragini Khanna and Pankaj Tripathi in pivotal roles.
