Sara Ali Khan, the daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh is all set to make her Bollywood debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in Kedarnath in December 2018. Apparently, Sara is on everyone’s wishlist even before the release of her first film.
First, it was a film opposite Arjun Kapoor and now it seems even Hrithik Roshan is interested in the young actress for Super 30.
Bollywood's Greek God, Hrithik Roshan started his 'Super 30' journey on the auspicious day of Saraswati Puja (Basant Panchami). The actor will be seen playing a teacher on the big screens for the very first time. According to reports, Hrithik has even pitched Sara to Super 30 director Vikas Bahl.
A source close to the development said, "Roshan is keen that the association materialise. He has pitched her to Vikas. The talks have been initiated."
However, the makers are yet to announce any name finalised to play the female lead in the venture. Several names have been doing the rounds, but nothing has been officially put forward as yet. From Katrina Kaif to popular television show 'Kumkum Bhagya' actress Mrunal Thakur—all have been rumoured to be a part of the venture.
Another round of rumour which has hit the market right now is that Sara has bagged her project even before her debut film 'Kedarnath' releases. And that happens to be a period drama with maverick filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker.
On the related note, Hrithik and Sara were set to get together for a Karan Malhotra venture, which was to mark Bollywood debut of the 24-year-old actress. However, it was eventually put on the backburner.
While cinephiles had pointed out that the pairing would be uncanny, given the age difference, Roshan had said, "Age is never a prerequisite [for casting]."
'Super 30' is based on mathematician Anand Kumar's life. It is slated to release on January 25th, 2019.
