New Delhi: IIFA Awards has been one of the most prestigious awards of Bollywood. Recently, the industry witnessed the 17th edition of IIFA Awards, held in Madrid, Spain.
While the event was a thorough starry affair, it turned out to be the best evening for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Bajirao Mastani’.
The movie, starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, has been the talk of the town ever since it was released and has been winning accolades across the world.
And the legacy continued at IIFA Awards as well, where the Ranveer-Deepika starrer emerged as the winner and took home 12 awards. Ranveer Singh won the best actor award for the ‘Bajirao Mastani’, while Priyanka Chopra won the Best Actress in Supporting Role for the same.
On the other hand, Salman Khan’s much popular move of 2015 ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ had to rest at two awards including the best movie trophy.
