Actress Sanya Malhotra, who received positive response for her performance in Aamir Khan starrer Dangal, has not announced her next venture but the lady has hinted that she has good projects in her hands. Sanya said that she is in a good space and is not in a hurry to do films adding that she will sign a movie only if she can relate to the character. The actress was happy with the kind of response that she has received from the film industry.

"I am in a really happy space. The kind of response I have received from the industry has been overwhelming. I am in a good space and not in a rush," Sanya told PTI on the sidelines of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2017.

"I won't pick up any random project and start working on it. I have great projects in my hands right now and I am waiting to share it with the world."

The actor says she is not choosy, but will sign a film only if she feels she can do justice to the character.

"If I am reading a script, the only thing I have in my mind is whether I am creatively excited about it or not. So, it is not like I have done a big film and will be really choosy about my future projects."

The actor is coy about her future projects but hopes to star in a dance film one day.

"I love dancing. I was in the dance society of my college in Delhi University. I couldn't really do anything with dancing in 'Dangal', but I want to do a dance film. I will go crazy if I ever do a dance film."

Sanya moved to Mumbai four years ago to pursue acting and it took her almost two years to get her big break.

"It has been a wonderful experience. There were many ups and downs in the beginning. But I never took it to heart. It has been four and a half years. It has been a great journey till now."

Sanya, who made her debut as a showstopper at The Meraki Project show today by designer Sonali Pamnan, enjoyed every second of being on the ramp.

"It was so much fun. I was really excited as I was walking the ramp for the first time for a designer. I was really happy as the clothes are so joyful and comfortable."

Sanya’s Dangal co-star Fatima Sana Shaikh will be seen in Aamir’s Thugs of Hindostan.
