New Delhi: Actor Hrithik Roshan has been in the limelight from sometime now. Earlier the reason was his legal battle with Kangana Ranaut and then the focus turned to his upcoming movie ‘Mohenjo Daro’.
However, recently Duggu made to headlines again after it was reported that he had rejected Zoya Akhtar’s next also starring Ranveer Singh.
This buzz raised a lot of eyebrows as Hrithik is quite close to Farhan and Zoya Akhtar.
While a lot of speculations were being made wondering what made the ‘Krrish’ actor do so, Hrithik himself thought to put the rumours at rest.
“I can never say no to Zoya. She has not offered me any film recently. But I am sure we’ll be working together soon again,” Hrithik told a leading daily.
In fact, it has been reported that the rumours are being circulated to create rift between Hrithik and the Akhtar family.
“Everyone knows Hrithik is very close to Zoya and Farhan Akhtar. They’ve stood by him during these difficult times. By spreading the rumour that he has rejected Zoya’s offer some people are trying to create a rift between Hrithik and the Akhtar family.Hrithik has in fact always been open to working with Zoya. He had done a very successful item song for Zoya’s debut film Luck By Chance and played the lead in her second directorial venture Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara. Hrithik was keen to do Zoya’s third film Dil Dhadkane Do. But Zoya had no part for him,” a source reportedly told the daily.
Apart from ‘Mohenjo Daro’, Hrithik Roshan is currently busy shooting for Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Kaabil’. Also starring Yami Gautam in the lead, the movie is slated to release on January 26 next year.
