New Delhi: Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has been making to the headlines recently, however, not for a good reason.
The actor is involved in an acrimonious fight with actress Kangana Ranaut. Their war of ward bagged a lot of attention after both the celebs slammed each other with legal notices.
While the ‘Bang Bang’ actor is still dealing with this legal trouble, his mocking tweet against Kangana has called for another legal notice against Hrithik.
It all began after Kangana Ranaut allegedly called Hrithik as her ‘silly ex’. The actor got furious with her statement and went on to tweet stating that he would rather have an affair with a pope than any of the women the media has been naming.
This tweet landed him in trouble after Abraham Mathai, the former Vice-Chairman of the States Minorities Commission, sent a legal notice to Hrithik Roshan for his uncalled for comments (statements) made against ‘Pope Francis’.
Abraham had also asked the actor for an apology. Though Hrithik did reportedly clarify that he wasn’t referring to the Pope Francis in his tweet, but his explanation has seemed to be have gone in vain.
But now the actor has apologised for his ‘pope’ tweet. Hrithik in a tweet on the micro-blogging site has stated that he didn’t intentionally hurt anyone’s religious sentiments.
Well, that was a wise move by Hrithik.
Currently, Hrithik Roshan is busy shooting for his forthcoming movie ‘Mohenjo Daro’ which is helmed by Ashutosh Gowariker.
