New Delhi: Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan is creating a lot of buzz these days. The actor’s upcoming movie ‘Mohenjo Daro’ is said to be one of the most avidly awaited movies of the year and its trailer has received rave reviews from the audience as well.
While the trailer of ‘Mohenjo Daro’ has raised the excitement level amongst the audience, it has reportedly raised Hrithik’s worth as well.
According to the recent media reports, the ‘Krissh’ actor has cracked a Rs 550 crore deal. The deal is regarding the satellite rights of his six upcoming movies with one of the leading television channels.
Reportedly, this agreement has been finalised keeping in mind the commendable business done by Hrithik’s movies since 2012. In these three years, his movies - ‘Agneepath’, ‘Krrish 3’ and ‘Bang Bang’ has successfully entered the coveted 100 crore club. In fact, his ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ too made a lifetime business of Rs 90 crores.
Given the massive box office collections of Hrithik’s movies and his immense popularity, this agreement might turn out to be more than a lucrative deal for the channel given his immense popularity.
On the other hand, this is not the first deal of its kind. Earlier, Salman Khan too had sold the satellite rights for his movies between 2013 and 2017 for a whopping amount of Rs 500 crore.
Apart from Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘Mohenjo Daro’, Hrithik Roshan is busy with Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Kaabil’ opposite Yami Gautam.
