Actress Rani Mukerji’s comeback film Hichki has performed well on its opening day. The talented actress, who has played the role of a teacher in the film, was heaped with praises for her spectacular performance. She appeared on the silver screen after a long gap of four years. Thus, it was a special film for the actress and her fans as well. The movie has minted Rs 3.30 crore on its opening day. The numbers were shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh on social media.
Taran took to micro-blogging site Twitter and tweeted, “Hichki settles and cements its status as Day 1 progresses... Records better occupancy post evening onwards... Sat and Sun expected to witness escalation in biz... Fri ₹ 3.30 cr [961 screens]. India biz.”
The figures are expected to grow in coming days. The movie is directed by Siddharth P Malhotra and produced by Yash Raj Films. It explores student-teacher relation. The gorgeous actress is suffering from Tourette Syndrome in the film.
In the coming week, the movie will be fighting the box office battle with Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani starrer Baaghi 2. It is yet to be seen if the movie manages to earn good amount in coming days.
