The Shehanshah of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan is known to have huge fan following in India and abroad. Recently, Big B received a royal invitation from Queen Elizabeth II but the actor has declined the invite, according to reports.
Reportedly the megastar received invitation from Queen and Prince Philip, the Duke Of Edinburgh to attend the UK-India Year of Culture launch. Regrettably, the superstar won't be able to make it to the event due to prior work commitments.
“Prior commitments are making it impossible for him to fly to London for the gala. He has already extended his regret to the invitation, citing pre-scheduled commitments, but is honoured to receive a special invite from Buckingham Palace,” Amitabh’s publicist shared with a tabloid.
The 74-year-old actorls super hectic diary includes the trailer launch of Ram Gopal Varma’s “Sarkar” in the first week of March.
The actor is also prepping for Vijay Krishna Acharya’s Thugs of Hindostan with Aamir Khan and Gaurang Doshi’s Aankhen 2.
His other projects include Ayan Mukerji’s “Dragon”, a Kabir Khan production and a film with director Nagraj Manjule
