Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan were seen at Global Teacher Prize event in Dubai and the backstage video of the event showcasing the actress pleading with Ranbir went viral. Now, reports suggest that the actress was having a serious discussion with Ranbir and was talking about the ban on Pakistani artists by Indian government.
If reports are to be believed then Mahira was not pleading but was engaged in a serious conversation with Ranbir telling him about how badly she wanted to become the part of ‘Raees’ promotions in India. The lady couldn’t come to India due to ban on Pakistani artist’s post Uri attack.
So, the news has cleared the air about the video that was doing rounds on social media. Ranbir and Mahira have not worked together in the film but were all smiles at the event when they posed for the camera.
Mahira made her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Raees’. The film entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club and also did good business at the box office. Ranbir, on the other hand is busy in the shooting of Sanjay Dutt’s biopic. The movie is helmed by Rajkumar Hirani. He will also be seen in Anurag Basu’s directorial venture ‘Jagga Jasoos’ opposite his ex-lover Katrina Kaif.
