Actress Kangana Ranaut has recently reacted on filmmaker Karan Johar’s comment on her, and said that KJo was nobody to tell her to leave the industry.
The “Queen” actresses, in the same breath, said that she was not going anywhere.
Lately, the ace director stated that if the actress finds the industry bad then she should leave it.
While talking to a leading daily, Kangana said that the film industry was not a studio given to Karan by his father, and it is for the outsiders as well.
Kangana said, “I learnt on the job and got paid for it, using the money to educate myself in New York. He is nobody to tell me to leave it. I'm definitely not going anywhere, Mr Johar.”
The National Award winning actress also spoke on Karan’s comment that he was done with the actress playing woman and the victim card.
Kangana Ranaut said that she used every card like ‘love card’, ‘dignity card’, ‘badass card’.
Kangana added, “I am not fighting Karan Johar, I am fighting male chauvinism.”
The ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ actress also suggested Karan to provide all the necessary cards to his little daughter, as the director recently became father to proud twins via surrogacy.
The lady said, “He should provide her with all these cards — the 'woman card' and the 'victim card', as also the 'self-made-independent-woman card', and the 'badass card' that I flashed on his show. We will use whatever we need to ensure no one rocks our boat.”
Talking about ‘Koffee With Karan’, Kangana said that the team was trying to get her on the show from months, and she was not sure how Karan gave her the platform to speak on his show. She added that the Karan was a paid host and the content in question was not edited for the sake of TRPs”.
The war between both the celebrities started when Kangana appeared on Karan’s celebrity talk show ‘Koffee With Karan’.
She called the director, the flag bearer of nepotism. The director recently reacted to that saying that he gave platform to Kangana to speak on his show, and he was done with the lady playing woman and victim card. The director went on to say that if she finds the industry bad she should leave it.
