Actress Sharaddha Kapoor whose last film ‘Ok Jaanu’ couldn’t generate heat at the box office has today shared the first look of his upcoming film ‘Haseena- The Queen of Mumbai’. The film is based on the real life story of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar.
In the poster the pretty actress looked fearless and bold. Her look indicated that this time she has chosen a role that is completely opposite to her bubbly image. With Shraddha as a protagonist, the movie looked promising.
The actress had previously stated that she was very nervous playing the character as she had to portray the age of 17 to 43 on screen and she wanted to look convincing.
Shraddha also met with Hassena’s family during the shooting of the film. The gorgeous lady also regretted not meeting Haseena who died in 2014.
Now people are eagerly waiting for film’s trailer to get released.
Shraddha’s last movies ‘Rock On 2’ and ‘Ok Jaanu’ failed at the box office. Thus, to be ahead of her contemporaries, it is important for the actress to get a hit.
‘Haseena – The Queen of Mumbai’ is helmed by Apoorva Lakhia and it also features Shraddha’s brother Siddhant Kapoor. The actor will be essaying the role of Dawood Ibrahim in the film.
