Who says women are the bad drivers and they love Barbie dolls in pink? There isn’t a single domain left where women have not come out with flying colours. An Indian actress has taken the name of Indian women a notch higher with her brand-new feat.

Yes, we’re talking about none other than Gul Panag. She has recently become the first Indian woman to drive a Formula E racing car. She drove the M4Electro at the Circuit de Calafat in Catalonia, Spain. The M4Electro is a Mahindra 4th generation Formula E race car and a season 4 challenger. She posted a video on her official Facebook page.

After driving the M4 Electro, Gul Panag expressed her joy by saying, “I feel privileged to know that I am amongst very few people in the world, including the motorsports world, to drive this car on what is only its second outing. The M4Electro is supercharged and feels like the e2oPlus on steroids! The powertrain and the speed of delivery did not take me by surprise because I am already familiar with EV technology, having driven the e2oPlus for a while now. With the M4 Electro, Mahindra has also proved that it is well ahead of the curve when it comes to transportation and is thus, well positioned to shape the future of mobility. In fact, I felt like I was driving the future!”

It’s not the first time that Gul Panag has beaten the odds. A few months ago, the dimply actress was making the headlines already. Earlier this year, she became a license pilot! She has been defying all the odds and breaking the stereotypes to live her dreams.

And one more thing about her that may interest you. She also owns a Mahindra e2oPlus electric car with a 210 AH Lithium ion motor.
