Amulya, popularly known as the golden girl in Kannada cinema got engaged to Jagadish R Chandra, son of a politician and former corporator on Monday.
Speculations are rife that Amulya might quit the Kannada cinema after her marriage to Chandra, who is an MBA graduate from London.
When asked about the wedding dates, Amulya’s mother revealed that they are planning to schedule the marriage sometime in May this year.
Confirming his marriage schedule, Jagadish said, ''We are looking out for a suitable venue at Rajarajeshwari Nagar. The wedding may take place on May 11 and 12.’’
The 23-year old actress, Amulya chose a red Kanjeevaram sari, for the engagement ceremony, which was held according to traditional Hindu rituals at at a choultry in Kengeri. Various eminent film personalities also graced the occasion.
Notably, Amulya will be seen in her forthcoming film ‘Maasthi Gudi’. The film is also starring Duniya Vijay, and is schedule to release by this month.
