During 11 days of Ganesh Chaturthi, the whole of film fraternity is drenched in festivity. From establishing Ganapati idols in their homes to participating in procession, they perform all rituals. Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor also participated in Ganapati visarjan. Ganapati in RK Studios in Chembur has been an old tradition of Kapoor Khandan who celebrate it with much fervour every year. Slaying it in blue kurta payajama, the 'Rockstar' actor was seen waving hands and greeting his fans with smile. He looked calm in spite of massive crowd and sunny day.
He was also joined by father Rishi Kapoor who last year received a lot of flak for his impolite behaviour. Previous year, the procession of RK Studios got disturbed after Rishi Kapoor hit couple of journalists. Ranbir's last film Jagga Jasoos though tanked at Box Office but the actor earned rave reviews for his brilliant acting skills. Ranbir is currently occupied with shooting of Rajkumar Hirani's Sanjay Dutt biopic and Ayan Mukerji's fantasy adventure Dragon. Not only, Ranbir but Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan also offered prayers to Lalbaugcha Raja on Monday evening.
