Fire breaks out on Shah Rukh Khan starrer Zero set, no casualties, actor safe

A major fire broke out on the sets of Zero when a song was being shot. Shah Rukh Khan was present in his vanity when the incident happened.

After the legal issues, another trouble knocked the doors of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Zero. A major fire broke out on the sets of Zero, as per the news agency PTI. No casualties have been reported so far. According to the reports, the fire was caused by a short circuit on the set. A song was being shot on the set when the fire broke out. Shah Rukh Khan was also present when the incident happened, however, he was in his vanity when the fire broke out.

Another actress Alia Bhatt was also present near Zero sets when the fire broke out. It happened around 4:30 pm in the film city and as per the latest reports, the fire was confined to the electric wiring. Two fire engines are in operation to extinguish the fire. It was spanned across an area of 12,000 sq feet.

News agency ANI earlier confirmed that a fire broke out in the film city in Goregaon. Four fire tenders were deployed to control the inferno. There is no official update on the condition from Shah Rukh Khan or anyone from Zero. One of the Shah Rukh Khan’s fan clubs posted a picture from the sets. 

Zero is Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film directed by Aanand L Rai. Starring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, the film is scheduled to release on December 21.
