Stand-up comedian Kapil who earlier entertained fans with his Bollywood debut Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, will be seen in a different yet interesting character in his forthcoming film Firangi.
Firangi, which also stars Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill in pivotal roles is the second Bollywood film of Kapil. Kapil, who has been working hard for his film Firangi will once again be seen entertaining fans in a comic character.
The film Firangi is a period drama set in 1920. Kapil is essaying the character of a servant of the Britishers, who were ruling India at that time. Later, Kapil in a character of Manga in the film was characterised as Firangi by the villagers. He was boycotted by the villagers as they suffered lot of problem due to him.
A simple and innocent guy Manga (Kapil) later fell in love with a girl, but faces struggle to attain her. He can be seen fighting for the truth and love in the film.
Earlier sharing the poster of the film movie critic and trade analysts Taran Adarsh wrote on his microblogging site Twitter, ‘’ New poster of Kapil Sharma’s #Firangi... Trailer out tomorrow [24 Oct 2017]... Directed by Rajiev Dhingra... 24 Nov 2017 release.’’
The film is slated to release on November 24 this year.
