Ever since actress Shraddha Kapoor was roped in for Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Rock On 2’, reports of the two dating each other have been doing the rounds.
But the actor has finally rubbished the reports of his link up with Shraddha.
Akhtar stated that it is useless to talk about the rumours as he doesn’t want to give any fuel to it.
“They can write what they want to, my life is going on the way it’s going. You end up taking such things in your stride and don’t worry about taking such battles to their logical conclusions” Farhan told a leading daily.
Farhan’s stunning camaraderie with Shraddha both off and on screen has kept the tongues wagging from the first day of the shoot. In fact, it was also speculated that the actor’s growing proximity with Shraddha was one of the reasons he chose to call off his 17 years marriage with Adhuna Bhabhani.
Though the ‘Wazir’ actor has put the rumour to rest, he did aver that these reports do affect him to some extent. He further mentioned that it is quite distressing to read the untrue things published.
Earlier, Shraddha Kapoor too had rubbished the reports about being involved with Farhan Akhtar.
Interestingly, post his announcement of separation with Adhuna, Akhtar has been linked up with several actresses from B-town including Aditi Rao Hydari and Kali Koechelin.
However, all these turned out to be mere rumours.
Currently, Farhan Akhtar is busy promoting his forthcoming movie ‘Rock On 2’, which happens to be the sequel of his 2008 release ‘Rock On’.
Also starring Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli, ‘Rock On 2’ is scheduled to release on November 11, 2016.
