Veteran actress Hema Malini has confirmed that her daughter and actress Esha Deol is expecting her first child. Esha got married to businessman Bharat Takhtani in 2012.
The 68-year-old actress took to Twitter to thank fans for their wishes."Deols and Takhtanis are overjoyed to announce that @Esha_Deol and Bharat are expecting their first baby. We thank you all for all your good wishes," wrote Hema.
Previously, Ram Kamal Mukherjee, who is close to Deol’s revealed to a leading daily that Esha is pregnant. However, people wanted to hear the news from Hema.
On the work front, Esha was last seen in 2015 film "Kill Them Young" and its Kannada and Tamil versions and was a gang leader in reality TV series "Roadies X2".
Esha and Bharat were school time friends. They fell in love on the sets of Hema Malini's directorial, Tell Me O Kkhuda. Both got married in 2012 and after five years of their successful marriage, they planned to start a family.
