New Delhi: Actor Emraan Hashmi, who is referred to as a serial kisser in Bollywood has now developed an interest for another profession. The on screen Azhar is now planning to venture into production and will soon launch his production house Emraan Hashmi films, suggest media reports.
This, however, will not be the first profession he takes up after acting. A few months ago, Emraan’s maiden book, ‘The Kiss of Life’ was released. In this book, he wrote about the struggle his family went through when his son Ayaan was diagnosed with cancer.
The book was warmly received by Bollywood celebs.
But, now Emraan Hashmi wants to open a production house. ‘The hero of masses’ as he is popularly called, recently changed the game with Azhar, as 85% of the film’s business came from multiplexes.
The biopic on life of former Indian cricket team captain Mohammad Azharuddin earned him rave reviews too.
Understanding that the director Tony D Souza had a huge role to play in the success of Azhar, Emraan reportedly wants him to direct the first movie of his production company. The film will be produced under the banner of Emraan Hashmi Films and Oddball Motion Pictures of Tony D'Souza & Nitin.
Well, we hope Emraan’s new venture shines just like his previous ones.
