Actor Emraan Hashmi today unveiled the first look of movie ‘Captain Nawab’ on the micro-blogging site Twitter this morning. He caption the image as, “And here it is, my first home production movie !!...”.
Hashmi, well known for his image of a serial kisser, has now turned a producer for the movie ‘Captain Nawab’.
‘Captain Nawab’ will feature Hashmi in the lead, who will be playing the role of a soldier. Interestingly, it will be for the first time that Emraan will sport an army uniform on the silver screen.
Much to everyone’s surprise, Emraan’s uniform in the poster is a mix of Indian and Pakistani army uniforms.
The movie also has a tag line – ‘Two Countries. One Soldier’. This has indeed left people speculating if Emraan’s role in ‘Captain Nawab’ will be similar to that of Salman Khan in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ who crosses the border or will he be the one man army for both India and Pakistan.
Rising the curiosity quotient, Emraan reportedly told an entertainment portal, “That’s the DNA of the film. I know it’ll spark off assumptions but I’ll hold the suspense for now”.
‘Captain Nawab’ is directed by Tony D’Souza, who is collaborating with Hashmi for the second time after ‘Azhar’.
Reportedly, Emran Hashmi will undergo extensive training for his role in the movie and will start shooting for his home production once he is done with Ajay Devgn’s ‘Baadshaho’.
