Popular TV actress Divyanka Tripathi who recently had a narrow escape with a near fatal accident has said that it must be divine power that saved her. The ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ actress was travelling from Surat to Mumbai when her car met with an accident.

Divyanka was returning from a garba event from Surat past midnight along with her spot boy. Narrating the incident, she said that the driver of the private car must have slept off. Divyanka said that she suddenly felt a heavy jolt in the car and realised that they had reached a farmland which was atleast six feet below the road.

“The car broke the divider and jumped off the road. Luckily there were barely other cars on the road,” added Divyanka.

The actress further said that a fatal accident was averted as the Surat-Mumbai highway is well maintained.

When Divyanka told her family about the incident, they told the actress she cheated death because of the spiritual activities she does, she said.

“They said, lately I have been involved in a lot of spiritual activities like Navratri and Ajmer Shareef visit, so there must be some divine power that saved me,” Divyanka said.

Divyanka also thanked the divine power for protecting her.

Seen as the lead character Ishita in ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, Divyanka recently got married to actor Vivek Dahiya.
