Actress Diana Penty, who is currently riding high on the success of her last release ‘Happy Bhaag Jayegi’ says she never intended to be a part of Bollywood.
In fact, she feels that movies happened to her just by chance. However, she also mentioned that being from a non filmy background never bothered her as well.
"I did not not approach Bollywood with this whole thing that 'Oh I do not have any backing here' or 'I am not from a film family...'. I kind of got into films by chance...It was never a plan or a part of my agenda...It was none of that..." Diana told IANS over phone from Mumbai.
Interestingly, not just Bollywood even her modelling career was not planned at all.
She stated that it was coincidence how one thing led to another and she ended up making her Bollywood debut in 2012 release ‘Cocktail’.
"Homi Adajania (the director of the film) said 'You know we think you have potential to play this character Meera, and so you are on'," Diana said.
