There is no denying that demonetisation had affected the box office collection of movies. Many personalities have coined their opinion on the same. Latest on the list is filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh. The director who is gearing up for his upcoming film ‘Kahaani 2’ said that people who want to watch the film will watch it.
The director was asked about his film releasing at the time of demonetisation to which he said that it was all about priorities. He further added that whoever wants to watch the movie will watch it. He gave his example saying that even if he didn’t have money in the past, he still used to watch films.
The filmmaker says difficult times keep coming and that he is hoping people will watch the film, which is slated to release on December 2.
"There are difficult times, some or the other problems keep coming up...People have liked the trailer a lot and we are expecting that they will turn up in good numbers," he said.
Starring Vidya Balan and Arjun Rampal, "Kahaani 2" is the second instalment of the 2012 suspense thriller film "Kahaani".
