Actress Deepika Padukone has mesmerised people with her acting skills and outstanding dance moves. Now, if reports are to be believed then the dimpled beauty has shot a dance sequence which is the rendition of melodies track ‘Raabta’ from ‘Agent Vinod’.
She has done it for Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Raabta’.
The director of the flick Dinesh Vijan revealed that he was in deep talks with music director Pritam regarding the track he wanted in the movie. He further informed that it was Deepika’s one of the favourite songs.
Though, he didn’t reveal much detail about the same but made it clear that the new version will not be similar to the previous one. He even indicated that the track will have fresh lyrics.
Dinesh Vijan said, “We have retained the same hook line, though. We have played around with the musical arrangement and the orchestration. We even have new lyrics for the song. Fans of the last one will be in for a pleasant surprise.”
The original track was picturised on Saif ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. ‘Agent Vinod’ failed at the box office but the song became popular owing to its soulful lyrics. Though, Deepika’s presence in the song is enough to create buzz in Tinsel town but the makers have already revealed that the track will have different lyrics.
We wonder if it will live up to the expectations of movie buffs.
Deepika Padukone is currently occupied with the work of Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial ‘Padmavati’. The film also features Shahid kapoor and Ranveer Singh in prominent roles.
