New Delhi: Actress Deepika Padukone has been creating a lot of buzz with her Hollywood debut ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’ lately. The actress will be making her big debut opposite Vin Diesel and she can’t stop gushing about it.
While people here are happy with her international success, they are also missing her presence on the silver screen. Deepika was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2015 release ‘Bajirao Mastani’ opposite Ranveer Singh.
On the other hand, the ‘Piku’ actress had announced that she’ll be doing a Bollywood movie in September. Though the diva didn’t reveal much about her next movie, it was speculated that she must be roped in for Bhansali’s next periodical drama ‘Padmavati’.
While the makers were in a mood to keep the suspense on, the news broke and it has been confirmed that DP will be a part of Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’.
The news was confirmed by Musician Shreyas Puranik saying that Deepika is indeed a part of ‘Padmavati’. Moreover, he also stated he was working on its tunes.
On the other hand, reportedly SLB is planning to rope in Ranveer Singh as the male lead in ‘Padmavati’.
Although, there hasn’t been any official announcement by Bhansali, Deepika or Ranveer in this regard, but if the reports turn out to be true, it is expected to be another stunning movie of this team.
