The two recently stunned everyone with their mesmerising appearances at the IIFA Awards 2016, not just at the green carpet but also on the stage.
However, their stunning performances have been making to the headlines as Deepika reportedly refused to perform with Priyanka at the event.
While the reports made everyone wonder what went wrong between the said to be best friends DP and PeeCee, it seems that the reason behind this mess was the pay cheque of the divas.
Reportedly, Deepika Padukone was paid much less than Priyanka Chopra and the ‘Piku’ actress is quite upset with this.
According to the media reports, the ‘Barfi’ actress charged a whopping amount of Rs 2 crores for her performance at IIFA 2016. On the other hand, Deepika was paid around Rs 1.3 crores approximately for the same.
Looks like the competition to be at the top position is taking a toll on DP-PeeCee’s friendship.
Currently, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra have wrapped up the shooting of their respective Hollywood movies. While Deepika will make her debut with ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’, Priyanka will be seen in ‘Baywatch’. Both the movies are expected to release in Janaury 2017.
