Diwali is here and Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has some special plans for the big festival this year.
The diva will be flowing down to Bengaluru where here parents reside to rejoice the festival of light and happiness
Interestingly, the family members' names also signify light: father Prakash, mother Ujjala and sister Anisha. The meaning of Deepika's name is also light.
Deepika has been quite busy with her Hollywood debut ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ lately. But now she is looking forward to spend some quality time with her family on Diwali as the festival has always been special to them.
The actress feels it’s the perfect time to be with her family as she soon will be occupied with her upcoming movie ‘Padmavati’.
Deepika will be seen playing the female lead in the periodical drama directed by ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
‘Padmavati’ also features Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in the pivotal roles.
It is reported that the movie will hit the floors in November first week and is touted to release in December 2017.
