‘Commando 2’ featuring the trio of actors Vidyut Jammwal, Esha Gupta and Adah Sharma has earned Rs 4.42 crore on its second day, according to media reports. The movie did a decent business on its opening day and collected Rs 5.14 crores from all versions.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to micro blogging site Twitter to share the numbers. The movie earned Rs 5.14 cr from Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions.
Taran tweeted, “#Commando2 Fri ₹ 5.14 cr. India biz... Hindi + Tamil + Telugu versions.”
The collection witnessed a slight growth on Saturday and the film managed to fetch Rs 5.25 crore making its two-day collection Rs 9.56 crore. The film is expected to earn more in coming days.
However, the film will face competition with Hollywood film ‘Logan’ featuring Hugh Jackman. The film fetched Rs 4.75 crore on its opening day. Thus, it is predicted that the collection of ‘Commando 2’ will be affected because of the Hollywood flick.
‘Commando 2’ is the sequel of 2013 released film ‘Commando’. The prequel collected Rs 3.69 crore on its opening day. Thus, the second instalment has surpassed the collection of first part.
The film is receiving mixed reviews from the audience. With jaw-dropping action sequences and Vidyut’s persona, the film is doing a decent business.
