New Delhi: Comedian turned actor Kapil Sharma’s new show has never left news. The foundation of the show itself was kept with controversies after Kapil Sharma had a fallout with channel Colors. Then, came the TRP battle with Krushna Abhishek, who replaced Kapil’s slot in the channel with Comedy Nights Live.
And now, there have been reports that Kapil Sharma’s best friend friend Chandan Prabhakar might bid adieu to the show. Grapevine went rife that Chandan is leaving his friend for another comedy show titled, ‘The Indian Mazak League’.
Now, this really shocked everyone because Kapil moved on with his entire family from Colors, so Chandan’s rumoured exit was bound to raise eyebrows. Especially, when Kapil and Chandan are friends since their college days and their bond runs deep.
This rumour spoke about problems between the two. But, there is another side to the coin, as always.
Rubbishing all the rumours about his exit, Chandan told a leading daily,
“As of now, I am not quitting ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ and Kapil has no issues with me doing Indian Mazak League. There would have been a problem only if the two shows were airing at the same time. Kapil's show is very dear to me and there is no way I will quit it.”
Well, this clears a lot.
Kapil’s on screen family is known to be very close to him. When Kapil’s show ‘Comedy Night With Kapil’, was on its zenith of success, Sunil Grover who was loved as Guthi, quit the show, shocking everyone. He went on to start his new show on Star Plus, but it didn’t do that well. Sunil came back on CNWK and as a good friend, stayed with Kapil when the latter ran into problems with Colors.
And now with Chandan’s clarification, looks like he is not repeating Sunil’s mistake and sticking with Kapil through thick and thin.
