Hollywood filmmaker Guy Ritchie who began his search for Aladdin, has finally found the perfect match. While buzz had it that Dev Patel would play the role, the director thought otherwise. Since a fresh face was needed for this Disney film, Bollywood actor Siddharth Gupta bagged the role, fresh reports suggest. Siddharth made his Hindi film debut with Ekta Kapoor’s Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi in 2014. The Disney’s live action movie will feature Will Smith as genie but, the other cast haven’t been confirmed yet. Now, news of Siddharth Gupta as Aladdin is creating much buzz and, it will surely be a delight to watch him on international platform.
“The makers were desperate to find an Indian actor who was not only a fresh face but also fits the role of an adventurous boy. Siddharth is perfect for it, and has already signed the Non Disclosure agreement with the Film’s makers”, revealed a source.
Star in the making?
Siddharth might not have found his fame in the Bollywood industry but he can make it big as a global icon. He does have the star quality in him and, he looks like a million dollar. The Dehradun-based boy, who did his engineering in Dubai, can make any woman go weak on her knees.

Coming back to
Guy Ritchie’s Alladin, the female lead for Aladdin hasn’t been confirmed. Sasha Agha and Tara Sutaria did audition for the role and it is unclear who will bag the role of Jasmine. Sasha has appeared in some Hindi films such as Desi Kattey and Aurangzeb.
