Renowned cartoonist-author KV Gautam, who had recently refused to participate in the much awaited reality show Bigg Boss 10, has now revealed the reason for rejecting the show. The cartoonist said that the show will harm his public image.
Gautam took it to social networking site Facebook to share his opinion. He stated the show, which will be hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, will not suit his personal temperament. He further added that the Bigg Boss label will also hamper his ‘intellectual’ image, and that the audience of this class have a dislike for such shows.
It’s been a couple of days that the cartoonist had announced about being approached for the tenth season of the show and had mentioned that this might not adjust with his priority list.
KV Gautam also stated how the organizers of a very high profile event cancelled his speech presuming he will be participating in the upcoming Bigg Boss 10.
He also made a point that that though it is good to be known by everyone, yet he would prefer to be popular for his good work, and not for any controversy on a TV show.
Moreover, Gautam feels he has many other exciting things to do in life than contesting for Bigg Boss like directing a Hindi comedy feature film.
Interestingly, this is not the first time that someone has rejected the popular reality show. Earlier, Karan Singh Grover, Surveen Chawla, Taslima Nareeen etc have also turned down the offer to enter the house of Bigg Boss as a contestant.
On the other hand, the speculations are quite rife wondering which all celebs will be participating in Bigg Boss 10 which will also have commoners as contestant this time
However, the makers are yet to announce the final list of contestants for BB10.
The much awaited reality show will be launched on Colors channel on October 16.
