Badla Box Office Collection Day 9: Taapsee Pannu, Amitabh Bachchan's crime-thriller in on a roll

Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan's directorial Badla is riding high on success. The Sujoy Ghosh directorial has not just earned rave reviews but is also on a roll at the box office. It has been over a week now and the crime-thriller is refusing to slow down. Despite clashing with Brie Larson's Captain Marvel, Badla has maintained its slow and steady pace. Positive word of mouth resulted in increased footfalls in theatres and now, Badla has crossed Rs 50 crore mark.

Badla also has a song titled Aukaat, in which Amitabh Bachchan is rapping to the perfection, reminding us of Ranveer Singh from Gully Boy.
Badla is an official Bollywood remake of hit Spanish film, The Invisible Guest. It revolves around a woman (Taapsee Pannu) accused of murder, who hires a lawyer (Amitabh Bachchan) with an impeccable track record of winning cases.
