Badhaai Ho Box Office Collection Day 3: Ayushmann Khurrana-Sanya Malhotra’s comedy-drama earns Rs. 31.46 cr

After a terrific report card on its opening day, Badhaai Ho has managed to earn Rs. 31.46 crores in just three days.

Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra’s situational comedy has made it quite clear that it is not here just to win hearts but make an impact on the box office as well. After a terrific report card on its opening day, the movie has managed to earn Rs. 31.46 crores in just three days. On the third day i.e. Saturday, the film brought in big numbers and earned Rs 12.50 crores. With Sunday on the horizon, it looks like Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao’s film would be earning Rs 45 crore nett, which is massive for the family entertainer.

Taking to his social media, Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the current box office numbers. He said, “#BadhaaiHo is UNSTOPPABLE... Hits double digits yet again on Day 3 [Sat]... Thu 7.29 cr, Fri 11.67 cr, Sat 12.50 cr. Total: ₹ 31.46 cr. India biz... Eyes ₹ 45 cr [+/-] extended weekend, which is PHENOMENAL.”

Undoubtedly, with Andhadhun first and now Badhaai Ho, Ayushmann Khurrana has become the actor of the season. He has not just impressed the audience with the versatility in his acting skills but has shown how small budget movies can also do wonders on the box office if the content is right. Ayushmann is overwhelmed by the positive response of his film. Talking about his successful career, Ayushmann said, ‘’I think I have been lucky enough in my journey to have got the right films and I'm thankful to all my filmmakers for believing in me."

Badhaai Ho is a hilarious yet realistic tale of a young man Nakul whose mother gets pregnant in her fifties. Instead of aborting the unplanned pregnancy, she decides to keep the baby. Embarrassed son starts keeping distance from his parents only to reunite with them later. Badhaai Ho was directed by Amit Sharma, who faced a similar situation in his own family.
