Filmmaker SS Rajamouli made a special announcement yesterday at the trailer launch event of ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ saying that ‘Baahubali’ is going to be franchise but the film will only have two parts. Along with Rajamouli, Karan Johar, Prabhas and Rana Daggubati also graced the event.

After releasing the trailer of ‘Baahubali 2’ digitally, the makers of the film gathered at a launch event organised in Mumbai and interacted with the media. While speaking at the event, Rajamouli stated that ‘Baahubali’ is going to be franchise but the film will only have two parts. He went on to elaborate that fans will enjoy the stories of ‘Baahubaali’ through mediums like novel, comics virtual reality films etc.

Rajamouli also stated that he didn’t want to make money by selling film’s soul. Thus, he was not keen to make third part of the film. He added there was no idea to start a franchise, the story was long so the makers split it into two parts. The director revealed that they have enhanced the action sequences and visuals of ‘Baahubali 2’.

The trailer of ‘Baahubali 2’ was filled with some high-octane action scenes and eye popping visuals. It was bigger and better than the first part.

‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ was appreciated by the audience and earned good at the box office. ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ is slated to release on April 28.
