From becoming the first Indian film to cross Rs 100 crore in a day to releasing across 9000 screens worldwide, Baahubali 2 has broken records like a king. The SS Rajamouli and Prabhas combination is just unstoppable. The film has now successfully completed 75 days at the box-office and, earned a whopping Rs 1567 crores. While it was speculated that Salman Khan’s Tubelight would hamper the film collection, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is still going strong at the cinemas. With just 15 days left to complete an amazing 100 days journey at the BO, the film is all set to create history yet again.
If Rajamouli’s epic drama tastes successful 100 days at the theaters, then it will become the first Indian film to complete the coveted mark. Baahubali 2, which was made in Tamil and Telugu and dubbed in Hindi and Malayalam, has the potential to break any record.
One of the media consultants took to his Twitter handle to share the happy news. “#Baahubali2 successfully Running 75 days @BaahubaliMovie @ssrajamouli”, he tweeted. As soon as the tweet hit the internet, Baahubali fans couldn’t keep calm and, congratulatory messages started to flow from every corner.
Recently, Baahubali: The Beginning completed two years in the industry and, protagonist Prabhas expressed his feelings on social media stating that the entire team owes the success of the films to filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli. The actor also thanked his fans for their love and support. Recently, the second part of the franchise was released that did earth-shattering collections.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion features Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan in pivotal roles. The film will soon release in China, where Aamir Khan’s Dangal received overwhelming response. Now, we have to wait and watch whether Baahubali can spell its magic in the neighbouring country or not.
