The SS Rajamouli’s epic creation was released in the major cities of the country.
According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, veteran Pakistani distributor Amjad Rasheed was quoted as saying, "The film has especially got a huge response in single screens, even though it purports mythology and Hindu tradition to a certain extent."
The film is expected to collect 6 crore Pakistani rupees at the box office, latest trade figures suggest.
Deeply rooted in Indian ethos, Pakistan officials were a little uneasy at first. However, later on everything seemed fine and positive.
"Baahubali 2 was passed without a single cut since the PCB did not find anything objectionable in the film," added Rasheed.
Meanwhile, the film has received phenomenal response from all quarters and has grossed Rs 1475 crore worldwide. The Prabhas-starrer is now the highest grossing Indian film of all time.
Baahubali 2 is the second part of the Baahubali series. The first part was also appreciated by the audience. Along with Prabhas, Baahubali 2 also features Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles.
