Baaghi 2 box-office collection: Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani’s film crosses 150 crore mark

Tiger Shroff is taking the Baaghi franchise to another level and making the producers happy

It’s 150 crore and counting for Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani starrer Baaghi 2. The action drama has achieved one more milestone at the box office. Despite the release of Varun Dhawan’s October, the action entertainer remained rock-steady and did good business at the box-office. The film now stands with the grand total of Rs 155.65 crore at the ticket windows. 

“And #Baaghi2 crosses ₹ 150 cr mark... The mass pockets/single screens remain the main contributors... [Week 3] Fri 1.75 cr, Sat 2.50 cr, Sun 2.95 cr. Total: ₹ 155.65 cr. India biz”, film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on Instagram.

The film has turned out to be a blockbuster and surpassed the collections of many Bollywood biggies like Pad Man and Raid. It is currently the second highest grosser of the year after Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat.

Tiger Shroff is taking the Baaghi franchise to another level and making the producers happy. Even before the cash registers started ringing in with Baaghi 2,  the producers announced the third part, Baaghi 3, with director-actor duo Tiger and Ahmed Khan. Needless to say, the producers were confident with the pair and the box office numbers have certainly endorsed their jodi.

No one had imagined that Baaghi 2 would rake in such a huge amount of money over the first weekend. But with a fantastic pre-release buzz, a huge screen space and an engaging storyline, the film flew out of the blocks. The fact that no mass entertainers had hit the screens over the last few weeks also brought in the crowd
