It’s been six years that audiences witness Emraan Hashmi and Ajay Devgn together on silver screen in 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai'. Now the stars are going to reunite in director Milan Luthria’s upcoming movie ‘Baadshaho’.
Emraan, who was last seen in biopic ‘Azhar’, says that he is excited about the movie and to work again with Ajay and Luthria.
"I am excited to be a part of this project... working again with Milan, Ajay and the whole crew and of course, the new entrant Ileana D'Cruz, I haven't worked with her, sounds good to me," Emraan said.
He was speaking on the sidelines of the launch of the book 'Dubai an Experience'.
Aww! Ajay Devgn and Kajol’s PDA on Twitter is the sweetest thing toady!
'Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai' was commercially and critically successful with both Emraan's and Ajay's gangster characters being appreciated. Emraan was also one of the lead actors in Milan Luthria's 'The Dirty Picture' opposite Vidya Balan.
Recently Emraan has replaced 'Udta Punjab' actor Diljit Dosanjh in 'Baadshaho'. The film is reportedly a historical fiction set against the backdrop of Emergency.
Apart from Ajay, Ileana and Emraan, the film will also feature Esha Gupta and Vidyut Jammwal in prominent roles.
Emraan's forthcoming film 'Raaz Reboot', fourth instalment of the 'Raaz' series, will be releasing on September 16. The film is directed by Vikram Bhatt and also stars south actress Kriti Kharbanda and Gaurav Arora in lead roles.
Emraan was last seen in the role of cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin in the biopic 'Azhar'.
