Ayushmann Khurrana’s quirky comedy Badhaai Ho just dropped its trailer on Tuesday. The film directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, grapples with a young married man who is embarrassed by his parents’ sex life. The actor has been signing films rather meticulously, based on unique topics like erectile dysfunction, sex life after marriage, mismatched couples, etc. Veteran actor Neena Gupta, is playing his mother who is expecting while her children are all grown up and in the child-bearing age.

However, his film also starring Sanya Malhotra, clashed with Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra-starrer Namaste England. Both the films are releasing on October 19, on a festive period of Dussehra. While most of the people think that two major films clashing on a festive period may affect their respective business, Ayushmann Khurrana has something different to say on this matter.

Quoting the example of Gold and Satyameva Jayate, that clashed on the occasion of Independence Day this year and did great businesses, he said, “We recently saw a clash on Independence Day, when both Gold and Satyameva Jayate did really well. If the content is good, all films will do well. Our films are different from each other, plus it is the holiday season, so it s going to be a win-win situation for both the films."

Badhaai Ho posters were launched on Monday which left the netizen amused. It shows all the characters of the film, including Ayushmann and Sanya curled up in foetal position just like the babies. The posters were indeed hinting that the film deals with pregnancy and childbirth. The trailer made it evident that Badhaai Ho is based on a unique concept of untimed pregnancies.
