Bareilly Ki Barfi starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao and VIP 2 featuring actress Kajol and Dhanush has released today. Bareilly Ki Barfi is directed by talented filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, the movie is about two handsome men trying to impress a girl named Bitti played by Kriti. With Bareilly Ki Barfi, small town love stories continue to try their luck at the box office. The trailer and songs of the film were well received by the audiences.
With the talented star cast working under the director of Ashwiny, who was behind the critically acclaimed film Nil Battey Sannata, the movie is looking promising. From promoting the film at wedding to appearing on reality shows, the star cast of the team is leaving no stone unturned to make this film a blockbuster.
VIP 2, on the other hand promises a tough fight between Kajol and Dhanush. The trailer of the film was laced with some powerful one-liners and Kajol's bossy attitude.
Last few months have not been great for the films as business point of view. The box office collections of movies like Jab Harry Met Sejal, Tubelight, Jagga Jasoos were disappointing. But, last week Akshay Kumar’s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha broke the dry spell of the box office and did a fantastic business. It is yet to be seen if Bareilly Ki Barfi and VIP 2 manage to win hearts.
