Arjun Rampal's uncanny resemblance with Arun Gawli in ‘Daddy’ motion poster is intriguing

Actor Arjun Rampal’s first look in upcoming movie ‘Daddy’ has got everyone puzzled. The reason being his uncanny similarity to gangster Arun Gawli, whose role he will be essaying. Gawli was a gangster-turned-politician of Mumbai.

On social media, the lead actor of the movie shared the 14-second long motion poster. The posted showed an image of Gawli and then Arjun as Gawli.

The unkempt hair, handlebar moustache and beard made the resemblance to true to reality.

As the poster starts rolling, the title of the film and a tagline appears - "the only one who did not run".

The actor posted the look with the caption "Here it is guys the first look of 'Daddy'. Let me know your thoughts. 'Daddy'. Coming soon."

Earlier, the film's director Ashim Ahluwalia shared a short video on YouTube, giving an introduction to the character.
